3 WILL PLACE AT THE FINALS

Congratulations to Zach Henderson, Jared Zimmerman and Jake Dean on placing at state. Each of these wrestlers will finish in the top eight. Placing rounds get under way this morning!

1st Day of Finals

The first day of the finals saw a lot of good matches. Winning their first round matches were Jared Zimmerman, Paul Carbone, and Jake Dean (beating a regional champ). Diaz, Jackson and Henderson will all be in action on Friday starting at 8:30!

STATE FINALS

The state finals are set to begin at 2:30 this afternoon! Good Luck to all six of the wrestlers who are representing Hudsonville Wrestling this weekend!

On to State!!!

History continues to be made!! The eagles will be well represented at the Palace. Six guys have qualified for the finals. They are: Zack Henderson (103), Marcos Diaz (125), Jared Zimmerman (130), Jake Dean (145), Paul Carbone (160) and Drew Jackson (215)! Congrats abd good luck at the finals!!!

EAGLES ARE 2ND IN THE OK RED

What a year. The Eagles went 6-1 in the OK Red Duals. Then on Saturday, we entered the final round in second trailing Rockford by 7 points. Rockford widened the gap to 28.5 points, but we held onto third by 30 points over East Kentwood. Congratulations guys on a great conference season. Hard Work really does pay off!

Placing were: Zack Henderson (4), Zach Nystrom (3), Pat Byars (4), Marcos Diaz (4), Jared Zimmerman (1), Carl Nystrom (4), Ryan Luyk (4), Jake Dean (2), Paul Carbone (1), Caleb Henderson (3), Todd Holstege (4), and Drew Jackson (2).

OK Red Conference Tournament

After going 6-1 in the conference duals this winter, the Eagles are looking forward to the conference tournament tomorrow. The wrestling will begin at 9. There should be many close matches, and team scores are sure to be close also. Come out and support your Eagles!

Cancer Benefit Match

Hudsonville Wrestlers joined with VanAndel Institute to raise over $16, 800 for cancer research. To top it off, the Eagles defeated West Ottawa 37-17. Following the Sat. tournament at Whitehall, the Varsity record stands at 21-6!!

Muskegon Dual

The Eagles knocked off Muskegon with a final score of 77-0. The Varsity is next in action at Eaton Rapids starting at 9 on Saturday.
