Varsity A finishes 7 of 16 at Howell

The Varsity team wrestled well on Saturday finishing in seventh place. While the team is young, the guys go after it and will improve during this season. Placing third were Zach Henderson and Dominic Rens. Placing forth were Brad Stubblefield and Jonah Zimmerman. Placing fifth was Caleb Henderson. Placing seventh were Jason Champion, Zach Gilliam and Ryan Boerson.

2011-2012 Season Under Way

There are 53 young guys who daily are developing into quality men in our wrestling room. These 53 guys will go at it in every match and leave all that they have on the mat. THEY WILL MAKE US PROUD!

We are excited to have the opportunity to scrimmage against Northview tomorrow night and open the real season this Saturday.

Brighton Up First

The bracket for team state is set. The eagles are the fifth seed and will wrestle against the fourth seeded Team from Brighton. This match will take place on Friday at 3:15 at the Kellogg Arena. GO EAGLES!!

5 to State

5 individuals advanced to the individual state tournament which will take place at the Palace. They are Zach Henderson, Marcos Diaz, Carl Nystrom, Jared Zimmerman, and Zach VanEss.

ON TO STATE

The Eagles defeated Rockford 37-30 and Grand Haven 35-33 in the team Regional to advance to team state. Team state will happen on Friday 2/25 at 3:15 at the Kellogg Arena in Battle Creek

Catching Up

The Eagles are currently 14-7 and 3-1 in the OK Red. This places us in a five way tie at the top of the conference with three matches against quality opponents left.
